This enjoyable and charmingly illustrated book teaches the importance of the family and the special relationships that exist within it. In this book we get to know about Abdullah’s mum, what she does for a job and how she manages also to look after the family. We learn that while hers is a busy life, the family is central to it.
The story teaches the young child basic sentence construction using vocabulary which is commonplace. Simple questions in the text help engage the child’s mind and can be used to encourage conversation. The illustrations will appeal to young readers and can be employed in devising further questions relevant to the child.
