Manuscripts and Book Proposals

123 Publishing House is happy to accept manuscripts and book proposals from accredited educators. We accept both fiction and non-fiction educational ideas, although it is not generally our practice to publish non-educational storybooks.

By submitting your manuscript, you acknowledge that your submission does not constitute an Agreement Contract with 123 Publishing House, nor is 123 Publishing House under any obligation to review your material. Please keep a copy of all work submitted as 123 Publishing House will not be held responsible for lost or damaged material.

Please include the following items with your book proposal:

  1. A cover letter with a brief introduction to your book
  2. A resume detailing your relevant experience and contact information
  3. A summary of your book, including its objectives, target age-group, how it fits with 123 Publishing House product lines and how you think it stands out from the competition.
  4. A brief summary of each chapter
  5. Two to three sample chapters
  6. A timeline specifying the length of the book and the time required to complete it.

Illustration Proposals

123 Publishing House is happy to consider proposals from picture book illustrators. All designs should cater to children under the age of ten.

We invite illustrators to submit sample illustrations and art portfolios. By doing so, you acknowledge that your submission does not constitute an Agreement Contract with 123 Publishing House, nor is 123 Publishing House under any obligation to review your material. Please keep a copy of all work submitted as 123 Publishing House will not be held responsible for lost or damaged material.
